Most of the Brands, that Transistory directly imports into India are Boutique Eurorack / Modular Brands/Manufacturers, that manufacture units in small batches and are usually built upon order confirmation from us, while constantly maintaining consistent quality and robustness & very importantly, prices that they (the Brands), through Transistory deliver to the end user (YOU).

Covid-19 Related Bottlenecks and now Russia's Occupation by War Campaign have resulted in Heavy Supply Chain Delays and Various Chip + Parts Shortages that have affected all Manufacturing Industries including but not limited to Eurorack / Modular Manufacturing Brands available through Transistory, which ultimately results in slower overall production time for products/units and in some rare cases minor variations in prices of products.

In fact, few Eurorack / Modular brands/manufacturers, especially ones with highly complex module(s) or product(s) have actually paused production and sales indefinitely until further notice.

Don't Worry, products of such Brands are NOT displayed or made available for sale through Transistory until the time these Brands cannot fulfill product orders within Transistory's Pre-Order System time frame.

TRANSISTORY has thus adopted a Pre-Order System with carefully chosen Eurorack / Modular Brands, specifically to curb big purchase orders which ultimately take longer to fulfill and and once fulfilled, can also result in sleeping stock with Transistory of products/units incase they do not sell/tickle the fancy of the new and growing community of Indian Eurorack / Modular Music Making Enthusiasts.

All Pre-Orders & pre-order product(s) have a 15-45 working days lead time from Order Confirmation to Final Delivery. Please read on for more details below.

We at Transistory are most definitely guilty of regular re-lapses into this chaos, as we are sure a lot of you are as well.
Fortunately / Unfortunately, depending on subjective viewpoints there is no actual cure for G.A.S.
The only solution is Healthy Management of G.A.S.

Let's face it, Starting off / Growing your Eurorack Music System can very quickly become a highly exorbitant endeavor, so it is extremely helpful and considerably safer on the pocket to have a buffered time option to thoroughly research the gear you are interested in buying before placing your order, rather than impulsively purchasing music gear on a G.A.S.y whim.

  • If there is a combination of Instantly / Readily Available Products and Pre-Order Products in your Total Order. This order will instantly be Split into 2 Separate Orders (regardless of any auto-generated Shopify Invoice that is emailed to you immediately after placing your online order). Hence we STRONGLY URGE you to Contact Us before placing your orders online so we can assist you in splitting the product orders into 2 separate orders and transactions from the beginning, to avoid any and all confusion that may possibly arise. Shipping for the Split Orders will also be re-calculated if one of the above orders total value falls below our minimum Free Shipping order value brackets. (Please read our Shipping & Delivery Policy for any doubts or clarifications on this matter.)

  • Any products in your Total Order that are readily available, as are quite a few products on our website, said products will be dispatched to you immediately along with a Final Invoice for those specific products only (which will also activate the warranty period for these specific products) and not be counted as Pre-Orders. (These readily available products are considered instantly confirmed orders upon payment realization, and are subject to separate cancellation policy terms, please read our refund and cancellation policy here.)

  • Any and all products which require 15-45 working days Pre-Order lead time, will result in the generation of a separate Proforma Payment Invoice for evidentiary proof of Pre-Orders placed/confirmed. This policy also extends, but is not limited to any products that are not currently available in stock with any Indian distributors of specific brands that we receive supply from.

  • Please go through the product(s)/brand offerings on our website, and take some time to research via YouTube/Brand websites the various functions and uses of the products to see if they suit your need or have piqued your interest to deeply experiment + explore with. There is a handy Product Resource section under each product(s) with links which will direct you to the product(s) page on the Brand website.

  • You have until the 30th of Every Month to decide which product(s) you would like to purchase and Place and Confirm Your Pre-Orders.
**Confirmed Pre-Orders are then placed with the Brands on the 1st of the subsequent month. (which technically counts as the actual start time of the 15-45 working days lead time for final delivery of pre-order product(s), regardless of  the actual day your pre-order is placed and confirmed within the previous month 30th deadline.)

  • You have 2 options for Confirmed Pre-Order Placement & Payment:
    1. Complete Pre-Payment of Pre-Order (via online transaction / direct bank transfer)
    2. Partial Payment(s) of Pre-Order (ONLY via direct bank transfer / generated payment links) Subject to below mentioned installment terms:
      • 70% of total order value during pre-order placement.
      • Balance 30% before actual dispatch of pre-order from our warehouse after products are received and processed by us for final delivery.

  • Pre-Orders are only considered Confirmed when one of the above mentioned pre-order placement & payment options is actually realized, and said transaction amount is fully processed. Until such time, all pre-order placements are only on Received status.

  • All Pre-Orders once Confirmed are put into a First Come - First Serve Priority List. And you will receive a Proforma Payment Invoice for your records and proof of order/purchase. (this is not a Final Invoice. Your Pre-Order product(s) Warranty Period begins ONLY at the time of generation and dispatch of Final Invoice along with Pre-Order product(s) from Transistory warehouse.)   • We Place Our Confirmed Pre-Orders with the Brands on the 1st of Every Month. (which not only helps us consolidate multiple pre-orders to ultimately reduce total shipping + clearance costs etc. which will ultimately benefit Transistory but also the End Consumer (You) but also allows ample time within our 15-45 working days lead time for the brands to build, test and quality certify the product(s) before shipping to Transistory for final dispatch to the End Consumer (You).)

  • If for any reason, due to Chip / Parts Shortages or Supply Chain Issues, any or all of your pre-ordered product(s) are not in supply / deliverable within the 15-45 working days period (At the time of Transistory placing a consolidated order with the Brand(s)) will result in an immediate cancellation of pre-order for those specific product(s) and a full 100% refund of the realized payment amount for those specific product(s) will be issued to you. You will then have an option to place a fresh pre-order when those product(s) become available again.

  • Transistory DOES NOT Offer / Encourage / Entertain any Cancellation Requests of Confirmed Pre-Orders (realized payments).  Any & All cancellation requests made towards confirmed pre-orders/pre-order product(s) will be subjected to a Flat 60% Cancellation & Processing Fee (of the total pre-order/pre-order product(s) value) before a refund is issued. Solely at the discretion of Transistory. Unless there is an unavailability of specific product(s) due to any reason when we place our consolidated order with the Brand(s) as mentioned in the point above.

  •  Once the Pre-Order is successfully sent to the relevant Brand. You simply have to relax and continue with your life and music making for the rest of your 15-45 working day lead time until Final Delivery of your Pre-Order to your doorstep. Transistory will keep you apprised/updated via email or WhatsApp about your Pre-Order status as it progresses. But please feel free to Contact Us if your have any further questions or require any status updates regarding your active / pending / unfulfilled Pre-Order.

  • In case of a highly rare/unlikely but not altogether impossible event of any unexpected/unforeseen situation/set of circumstances that may arise which will ultimately result in a delay of Final Delivery of your Pre-Order beyond the maximum lead time of 45 working days, Transistory will intimate you via email/Whatsapp, about any such event/situation/set of circumstances, as soon as we made aware of them, with immediate effect.

  • Upon intimation by Transistory of any such special cases of rare events/situation/set of circumstances mentioned in the above point which will ultimately result in a delay of Final Delivery of your Pre-Order beyond the stipulated maximum 45 working days lead time. You will be presented with the following 2 options (which are only applicable after the last 45th working day from the actual start time of your pre-order explained clearly above):
    1. You would be kind enough to bear with Transistory thru the arisen unexpected/unforeseen delay time, and allow us the time to ensure your Final Delivery of Pre-Order is fulfilled to you as early as is possible with the maximum efforts of Transistory.
    2. You would have the option of Cancelling your Pre-Order with the same Flat 60% Cancellation & Processing Fee (of the total pre-order/pre-order product(s) valuebefore a refund is issued. Which will then result in you foregoing your place in the First Come - First Serve Priority List and as a result foregoing Final Delivery of whichever pre-order product(s) you had placed the order for. (The Pre-Order Product(s) will then be made available/offered to the next person in line on the First Come - First Serve Priority List for the particular Pre-Order Product(s). solely at Transistory's discretion.)
